Let us find new homes for your contemporary and gently-used home decor items. We specialize in furniture, decor, kitchen, entertaining, seasonal items, barware, and furnishings. We gladly accept items that are clean, in good condition, and still in demand by our customers. Resale not only helps the planet, but it also frees up your space as well.
My Cousin’s Cottage offers you a generous selling period and up to 50% of the sale proceeds. Your accepted items will be offered for sale for a maximum of five (5) months. Upon sale, you will receive your portion of the selling price (50% for furniture/40% for all non-furniture items), not including sales tax or buyer’s fee. All items are accepted on consignment only; My Cousin's Cottage does not buy outright.
Your once-loved treasures will be professionally priced and beautifully staged to obtain a timely sale. We use print ads, social media, and email marketing to promote our merchandise to a wide audience. Many of our customers have been shopping with us for years, even decades!
Your possessions will be seen with a fresh set of eyes every day. We are not the store for vintage or antiques. Our shoppers are both thrifty and design savvy. They look for second-hand items that still “look and feel” modern and current. If that describes something you are ready to let go, we can help you turn it into profit!

All consignments are taken in by appointment only. Appointments can be made either in-store or by phone.
At your appointment time, you will bring your home décor and household items to the counter. We will inspect each item as efficiently as possible while you wait. There are no minimum or maximum quantity restrictions.
All items MUST be clean and dust-free upon arrival. Our customers tell us every day how much they appreciate and value spotless merchandise.
Furniture and large, bulky items require pre-approval before you bring them to the store. Email us at mccwesterville@gmail.com or click below with pictures, approximate sizes, age, and overall condition.
Plan ahead for seasonal items. As with many retail stores, our seasonal merchandise goes out on display much earlier than you might begin decorating. We recommend that you contact us 4 months in advance to schedule a drop-off for holiday decorations.
**PLEASE NOTE** Consigning Christmas décor? Call us in July so we can set up an Oct / Nov appointment. If you wait until after Aug. 1st to contact us, we cannot guarantee an appointment will be available during our busiest season.
